Item Details
An oil painting on board of a military man in uniform. The portrait is rendered in a bust-length, turned profile view. On his collar is a gold pin of an American eagle and a crossed fasces. Not signed by the artist. Housed in a gilt and gesso wood frame with an acanthus motif.
Condition
- numerous areas of missing gesso from frame; cracks to frame; ares of pin-head sized missing paint on portrait.
