Santos Bautista Hand Beaded Tiger Sculpture

A hand carved and beaded Huichol tiger sculpture by Santos Bautista, (Huichol/ Wirrarika, or Wixáritari). The tiger is in a crouching position with its mouth open and is adorned with floral designs made with small purple, pink, red, and white glass beads. The artist’s signature can be found to the underside of one of the paws, with a stamp from Peyote People, a Huichol/ Wixáritari gallery, on another paw.
