A Currier & Ives chromolithograph titled Washington at Home. This print depicts George and Martha Washington and their grandchildren Eleanor and George Custis as well as an enslaved servant. They are pictured in a dark interior setting with the family gathered around the table studying books and maps. A painting on the wall in the background depicts the front facade of Mount Vernon. Below the image, the print is titled ‘Washington at Home.’ There is also information identifying the publisher as well as the two children included in this portrait. The print is presented in a brown and gold tone wooden frame, triple matted with a wooden liner, under glass.
