A 1949 Royal Doulton Oliver Asks For More jug. The brown jug features embossed figures from the Charles Dickens’ novel, Oliver Twist, with Oliver, holding his bowl up to Mr. Bumble, saying, ‘I want some more’. The piece is stamped on the underside with the lion and crown stamp and the following designations: ‘Rd No 857580., Rd No 5903., and Rd No 73/49’.
