Item Details
A restrike woodblock print on paper tilted View from Massaki of Suijin Shrine (先崎辺より水神の森内川関屋の里お見る図) from the series One Hundred Famous Views of Edo (名所江戸百景) by Utagawa Hiroshige (歌川 広重, 1797-1858). The piece is mounted under a single piece of off-white mat, under non-glare glass, and housed in a wood frame. The print and series title are printed in cartouches in the upper right corner and the artist’s ‘Hiroshige ga’ signature is printed in-block in the lower left.
Condition
- minor wear to frame; some scratches to glass near upper right corner; tears to paper in upper right corner; toning to mat.
