A large religious medallion bearing the likeness of St. Barbara in relief. She wears a crown and is depicted holding a sword and a chalice set with a synthetic ruby. The medallion is held by a heavy curb chain link necklace, which has a clasp stamped ‘925 Italy.’ The medallion itself is stamped ‘sterling’ to reverse with a fish pictograph containing the letters ‘GMI.’ The total weight, inclusive of all materials, is 1.580 ozt.
