Hand-Written Calligraphy Music Score on Vellum Parchment
Item Details
A hand-penned calligraphy music score on vellum parchment. The score features black and red calligraphy on what appears to be a double-sided sheet of thin vellum, made from goat skin. It is presented in a brown wood frame with a hanging wire on the back.
Condition
- vellum is warped and shows surface wear
- frame has dings, scuffs and scratches
- vellum appears to be double-sided with the reverse showing through to the front
- a later hand has added the “st” in “esti”, somewhat clumsily
