A model of a WWI era British Sopwith Tabloid (N1205) plane. This plane was purchased for Clyde’s of Reston. It features a wood framed body covered in a waxed paper with metal suspension rods and nose. It is accented with Royal Air Force Roundels painted on both the wings and body of the plane. The cockpit of the plane also features a hand painted dashboard and controls.The numbers ‘1205’ are painted on the lower half of the body and the tail is painted with blue, white, and red stripes. Also hand painted on the tail is ‘The Sopwith Aviation Company Ltd. Kingston on Thames’.
