Item Details
An oil painting on canvas titled No Fishing. This painting, dated to 1913, depicts a young man holding a fishing rod who has fallen in the water while an older man points angrily at a sign that reads ‘No Fishing…’ The painting is signed to the lower left and a temporary exhibition label from the Philadelphia Maritime Museum identifies title and date, as well as speculates on artist name. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame.

- Damage/ drip marks on corners. Fading of signature.
