A vintage Norman’s Kill Farm Dairy oak crate with stirring stick. This set includes a square crate with silver tone metal trim and oak slats with pierced handles. The crate has ’Norman’s Kill Farm Dairy 62’ carved to one side and ‘Hi Norman’s Kill’ carved to another side with the depiction of a child waving. Norman’s Kill was a dairy farm on the edge of Albany sold in 1966. The term ‘kill’ comes from the Dutch word for ‘creek’. This set also includes a stirring stick.
