Vintage Rococo Style Mahogany Bed Frame

Item Details

A vintage Rococo style mahogany bed frame. The set includes a headboard with serpentine crest rail and C-scroll with acanthus leaf carved pediment over a solid panel rising on acanthus leaf carved legs terminating on whorl feet. The matching footboard is joined by paneled side rails. There are no visible maker’s marks.

Condition

- some small chips missing from carved pediment; top piece of inner trim missing from footboard.
