Chinese Ink Wash Hanging Scroll of Landscape
Item Details
A Chinese hanging scroll with an ink wash of a landscape. This scroll features distant figures, village huts, and a waterfall in a majestic mountainous landscape with a lake at the bottom. Calligraphic characters and a red seal are present to the upper left. The piece has been mounted onto a beige silk brocade. Work is presented unframed and rolled for storing.
Condition
- discoloration and stains to paper; small holes scattered throughout scroll; wear along scroll edges; foxing scattered throughout; small white scratches scattered throughout painting.
