The rug features a central pattern of floral palmettes, vines, and linear patterns in a palette of light brown, cream, and deep blue that sits on top of a powder blue field. The field is enclosed by a compound border that features a floral palmette pattern throughout in a complementary palette that sits on top of a taupe background. The rug has overcast edges and a wool warp fringe and is not marked.
