Pair of Vintage Prints After "Vogue" Magazine Covers

Item Details

A pair of vintage prints after Vogue magazine covers. These offset lithographs are from the May 1, 1927 and the January 1, 1932 editions. The 1927 edition features a red haired woman dressed in a yellow outfit while holding her hand in one hand while resting hand on the word Vogue, printed across the top. This cover is signed illegibly in plate to the upper right corner and subtitled ‘New York Fashions’ to the lower right corner. The 1932 edition cover depicts a black haired woman wearing a striped shirt looking over at a beach from balcony. It is titled ‘Vogue’ across the top of the cover and is subtitled ‘Southern Fashions and Winter Resorts’ to the lower left corner. Both covers are presented in metal frames with a double mat, under plexiglass.

Condition

- Some foxing and creasing to covers with minor yellowing. Water damage to bottom of 1932 cover. Frames are scratched and scuffed. One frame has screw holes in sides. Some scratches to plexi.
