A collection of seven Lenox figurines including; ‘Royal Reception,” “First Waltz,” “Springtime Promenade,” “Grand Tour,” ’Belle of the Ball,’ ‘The Centennial Bride’ and “The Governor’s Garden Party.” “Royal Reception features a turn of the century beauty in a dusty rose evening gown with roses throughout. She is holding an iridescent fan with a rose colored evening bag at her wrist and boasts an elaborate chiffon with trailing curls and a cameo with gold around her throat. The figurine is marked in gold to the verso ‘Royal Reception / Fine Porcelain Sculpture / Limited Anniversary Edition/Lenox / Japan.” This “First Waltz” figurine is from the Lennox American Fashion Figurine Collection. This fine lady is in a pale yellow dress with deep pink and magenta roses and red ribbons. She wears pearls around her graceful neck and cools herself with a delicate feather. A lovely pearl comb holds her hair in a fine upswept hairdo. She has 24K gold accents and is the 1984 edition. The figurine is marked in gold to the verso “Tea At The Ritz / Fine Porcelain Sculpture / Designed and Imported Exclusively / By Lenox / From Japan / Lenox Collections. “Springtime Promenade” figurine, 1985 is a charming lady wearing a lavender dress and bonnet with peach ruffled trim reminiscent of the mid 1850’s. Her parasol is white with a brown handle and lavender bow on top. She is carrying a white handkerchief in her right hand. She has blonde hair, brown eyes, and a peach blossom complexion. She has gold trim to the dress while the verso markings, as is typical of Lennox products, are all in gold. The “Grand Tour” figurine is from the Lennox American Fashion Figurine Collection. This figurine is dressed in 1870’s attire with a jaunty bonnet trimmed with flowers and a fashionable streamer flows to lawyers of ruffles and frills covering the tailored traveling gown with a fitted jacket in an attractive cobalt blue with touches of lace throughout, as she waves her handkerchief to those she leaves behind. The figurine is marked in gold to the verso “Grand Tour / Fine Porcelain Sculpture / Lenox .” “Belle of the Ball” is part of the American Fashion Collection and depicts a southern lady in her 1860’s multi-layers ball gown in cream, pale pink and robin’s eggs blue trim. With a off the shoulder neckline, this belle shows off her shoulders and gold necklace with matching bracelet as she holds up her dance card. This figurine is marked to the verso ‘The Belle of the Ball / Fine Porcelain Sculpture / Lenox,’ in gold script. “The Centennial Bride’ captures the beauty of the Victorian bride with long, flowing lace train, coronet of flowers, lace throughout and a bouquet of white roses. Marked to the bottom “The Centennial Bride / Fine Porcelain Sculpture by Lenox,” in gold script. The Governor’s Garden Party,’ figurine features a polonaise over a taffeta petticoat in all the Rococo splendor of excess. She wears a most fashionable wig with pearls, feathers and curls throughout with a single string of pearls at her plunging neckline. Marked to the bottom “Governor’s Garden Party / Fine Porcelain Sculpture by Lenox.
