A pair of charcoal drawings on paper of figure studies. These two drawings include depictions of women, one of which is rendered in close portraiture staring upwards with her arm tucked behind her back. The other drawing depicts a nude woman holding her head with one hand while standing with a sway, and is heavily shadowed. To the lower right corner of this drawing is an inscription appearing to read ‘B+’. The drawings are presented under glass in a cream colored wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- slight edge wear to frames; hole to top left corner of portrait drawing; stains, cracking and tearing to backing.

Dimensions

- measures frame; visible image measures: 9.25" W x 12.0" H; both drawings measure approximately identical.
