A terracotta bowl with hand hammered metalwork border in a metalwork stand. The bowl features a tapered shape with a flat rim. The side of the bowl features a unique hand hammered metal border with punched and wavelike designs to the side. The border has been finished in gold and silver tones. The bowl has been finished in an antiqued green and tan tone. The piece rests in an oxidized metalwork stand featuring three supports finished with wavelike metalwork supports. The terracotta has been cut, formed and fired by artisans in the Guadalajara region of Mexico and glazed using regionally unique handmade paints and waxes.

Condition

A few small chips noted, deliberate oxidation noted on the stand.
