N. Noran Oil Painting on Canvas of a Stream With Green Banks
Item Details
An oil painting on canvas by Austrian artist N. Noran (born 1905). This depicts two tall white-bark trees in the foreground rising above the verdant banks of a stream which flows out to a larger body of water below a wide blue sky. A small row boat is visible through the cattails in the lower left, and buildings are just visible on a far bank in the distance. The work is signed in the lower right and presented in a gold tone foliate frame that is wired for hanging. A short artist biography is attached on verso.

- frame has a few minor scratches and chips.
