A signed artist proof hand-pulled lithograph by contemporary Brazilian artist Fernando de Jesus Olivera, better known as Ferjo (born 1946), titled Blue Door. Ferjo is known for his surrealist paintings that often include room interiors filled with butterflies, floating objects, and stylized famous paintings, all done in a bold palette. His paintings create interesting paradoxical scenes where fantasy meets reality. In this work, a large Alfred Gockel painting hands on the wall beside a door opening to a serene beach. The print is signed and labeled as an Artist’s Proof in pencil to the lower corners. A “Logo Art New York” blindstamp is embossed to the lower left. Presented without matting or framing, this print is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the Great Dane Collection.
