A lithograph after Käthe Kollwitz’s (German, 1867-1945) Das Bangen. This print on toned paper depicts a figure in front portraiture shrouded in shadow. An artist signature is seen in plate to the lower left corner of the composition. It is presented under glass behind a beige cloth mat in a stained wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

- paper is buckling in frame; paper backing of frame is torn.
