A hand-knotted Indo-Anatolian carpet runner. The rug features five medallions with serrated edges down the center of the field in a palette of white, dark blue, green, and orange that sits on top of a deep red field. The field is populated by floral and eight pointed star guls in a complementary palette and is enclosed by a compound border. The border features a pattern of serrated guls and eight pointed medallions with a white background, and it has an overcast edge and wool fringe to either end. Unlabeled.
