A hand-knotted and embroidered Baluch carpet runner. The rug features a lattice pattern of diamond medallions throughout the deep blue field in a palette of cream and deep red. The field is enclosed by a compound border with a diamond pattern throughout in a complementary palette. It has an overcast edge and wool fringe to either end. The rug is not marked.
