Late 19th Century Miniature Victorian Eastlake Dresser

Item Details

A late 19th century miniature Victorian Eastlake dresser. The walnut case features a shaped pediment with a shelf above a rectangular mirror opening. This attaches to a dresser with a rectangular, molded top over a stack of three drawers with turned knobs. The pediment and drawer fronts are incised with stylized, geometric motifs and ebonized bands. The dresser rises on cutout side panels.

Condition

- wear and scratches consistent with use; missing the original mirror; the top shelf appears to have been reattached, as is evident by the scraped finish surrounding it.
