An original acrylic Folk Art painting on board circa 1960 by American artist, Rex Clawson (1929 – 2007). Clawson is best known for his abstract Folk Art paintings that often have very colorful, eye-catching palettes. This painting is signed by the artist in the lower left corner with the date written to the lower right. This piece has a single tan cloth mat, which is displayed in a wooden frame with a black stripe. There is a wire for hanging to the verso.

Some crackling to paint throughout.
