Item Details

An antique black cast iron stove produced by Birmingham Stove & Range Co. This stove has a segment with a small hinged metal door marked ‘No 40’, which covers the oven that has a metal grate bottom. This is directly above the stove where wood or coals can be stoked, contained by a grate marked ’B’ham Stove & Range Co’. There is also a swiveling lid covering a vent at the very top. The piece is additionally marked ‘1889 Conestoga’.
