Vintage Walnut Banister Finials

Item Details

A pair of vintage walnut banister finials. The stained staircase end pieces feature an acanthus bud knob over a reeded column with swirled acanthus leaves above the grooved base. Seller’s provenance indicates these finials were from a post civil war plantation in Virginia and were the finials of the a grand staircase. Finials are not marked.
