Erté Signed Limited Edition 1985 Embossed Serigraph "Emerald Eyes"
Item Details
A signed limited edition 1985 embossed serigraph on paper designed by the well-listed Russian-born French artist and fashion designer known as Erté (1892 – 1990), titled Emerald Eyes. The image depicts a tall, thin woman wearing a luxurious, silken, red and black cocoon robe with an Art Deco peacock feather emblem on her backside. She wears a bejeweled headpiece and golden heels on her feet, smiling as she looks to the side with her bright green eyes, a feature she shares with a very content black cat who gazes at the viewer from her nest within a lavish red bed and plump bedding. This print is numbered XLIII/CL and signed by the artist in pencil to the lower margin; mounted behind white liner with gilt fillet, under acrylic glass in a glossy black wooden frame with gold tone corner accents, equipped to hang.
Condition
