An incised and hand painted signed art pottery vase. The piece features a cylindrical style with a round rim. The piece features a hand incised and painted design with a pair of angels and floral, vine and geometric detailing throughout. The piece has been finished in warm earth tones such as cream, pomegranate, brown and black. It is signed Gormac and dated 08 to the side of the base. The terracotta has been cut, formed and fired by artisans in the Guadalajara region of Mexico and glazed using regionally unique handmade paints and waxes.
