A vintage etching on paper of a harbor by well-listed printmaker Ryohei Tanaka (1933). This wide angle view of a harbor depicts a white fishing boat floating on the water near a row of houses. Exquisitely detailed line-work adds texture to the houses, waves, and trees in the background, for a rich composition. The work is signed in pencil to the lower right, dated ’88, and marked number 51 in an edition of 120. This print is presented unframed, under black and white layered mats.

Condition

- some wear to corners of mat with minor markings; although they are included, print is not attached to mats.
