Burgundy Tone Terracotta Olla

A burgundy tone terracotta olla. Features an open mouth with shallow neck over a round, nearly spherical body. The shoulder features an incised greek key style border. The piece is finished in a burgundy tone with gold and brown highlight tones throughout. The terracotta is cut, formed and fired by artisans from the Guadalajara region of Mexico and glazed and waxed using regionally unique glazes and wax.
