Brown Terracotta Urns with Geometric Design in Relief
Item Details
A pair of brown terracotta urns with geometric designs in relief. They both feature a square rim with a wide neck over a rounded body with a round foot. A geometric border is noted in relief at the shoulder. They are both finished in a mottled brown tone with a darker wax finish. The terracotta has been cut, formed and fired by artisans in the Guadalajara region of Mexico and glazed using regionally unique handmade paints and waxes.
Condition
Light wear to the finish noted, some chips in the glaze.
