Collection of Ten Vintage Lesney "Matchbox" Cars
Item Details
A collection of ten vintage die cast metal Lesney ‘Matchbox’ vehicles and trucks. All are marked ‘Made in England by Lesney’. They are also marked with the name of the type of vehicle, along with a number. Included is one each ‘Series No. 64, M.G.1100’, ‘Morris J2 Pick-Up No. 60’, ‘Hoveringham Tipper No. 17’, ‘10 Ton Pressure Refueller No. 73’, ‘Orange Truck, 26’, ‘Yellow Truck, 1973’, ‘Snow-Trac No. 35’, and ‘Land Rover Fire Truck No. 57’. There are two each marked ‘Alvis Stalwart No. 61’.
Condition
- Snow Trac windows shattered
- paint chipping off all of the cars, letters fading
- some missing tires or other parts
- one has name painted on bottom
