An Aubusson style needlepoint area rug. This tapestry style rug features floral wreaths and floral swags among golden hued foliage. It includes tones of dark green, pink, camel, rose, cornflower blue, and is finished with a geometric border. It has bound seams to the underside and is unmarked.

Condition

- to fair; hole in the center and fabric is worn in a corner area. Stray threads to the verso are indicative of the handcrafting process.
