A Noritake ‘Retel’ china service for twelve. The classic Retel pattern in cream, pale taupe and black, embellished with gold flower bands throughout. This set features twelve dinner plates, twelve salad and bread plates, twelve soup and fruit bowls with twelve teacups and saucers. In addition, this services boasts a creamer and lidded sugar bowl, along with a gravy boat and underplate, a 10.00’ oblong vegetable plate and a 10.00’ round, lidded vegetable dish. All of the eighty-nine pieces are marked by maker to reverse.
