A piebald brown and cream tone terracotta pony sculpture. The sculpture features a robust shape to the pony, similar to the round ponies drawn by Robert Thelwell. The piece has been finished in a mottled cream and brown tone finish and the pony sports a black mane and tail. The terracotta is cut, formed and fired by artisans from the Guadalajara region of Mexico and glazed and waxed using regionally unique glazes and wax.
