Sage and Gold Tone Terracotta Urn

A sage and gold tone terracotta urn. Features a squared off rim over a short neck with shallow border. The body of the urn tapers to a lined detail in relief over a round foot. The piece features a sage and mottled cream tone ground with a gold tone finish to the neck. A dark wax finish has been applied over the entire piece. The terracotta has been cut, thrown and fired by artisans from the Guadalajara region of Mexico and glazed using regionally unique handmade paints and waxes.
