An offset lithograph map on foil titled Nova Orbis Tabula, In Lucem Edita, A.F. De Wit. Under the title, this world map depicts the different hemispheres of Earth surrounded by Roman narrative scenes of farming, partying and frolicking. Mounted under a double layer of gold tone and black matting, the map is presented under glass in a gold tone wood frame. Sawtooth hardware for hanging purposes is present to verso.

- backing paper is punctured in several places; faint scratches and nicks to frame.
