This painting depicts a visceral layering of cream, green and blue tones to render interlocking, linear brush strokes against a muddled backdrop. A vertical inscription (晴天春水好鉤魚, 刮瑞寫于主大) is present in the lower left corner. The painting is presented in a silver tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
