A contemporary handmade doll by artist Gwendolyn Campbell of Middletown, Ohio meant to commemorate the works of Southern Baptist Missionary Angie Walker Armstrong (1850-1938). This doll features a hand-painted bisque porcelain head and body with simple shoulder and hip joints. She has a thoughtful hand-painted expression with a styled mohair wig and custom hand stitched blue dress replete with ruffle and bustle. Includes hang tag.
