After Lesrel Adolphe Alexandre "Bacchante Enivree" Copy Painting

A copy of Lesrel Adolphe Alexandre’s painting Bacchante Enivree. Alexandre (French, 1839-1929) originally painted the piece in 1882. It depicts ‘A Drunk Bacchante’ stretched out, supine, on deep red cloth, surrounded by flower petals and wine, tipping out the last of a glass above her head. This large rectangular piece is displayed in an elegant wooden frame with a gold gilt finish; copy artist’s signature is in the lower right corner. There is a wire for hanging to the verso.
