A vintage 1979 Charles A. Wittwer Kentucky bourbon Kentucky Derby decanter. Features a red china rose shaped stopper. The triangular china bottle features a large brown horse head with white star, who resembles 1978 winner Affirmed, atop a green and white rendering of the grandstand at Churchill Downs with its twin spires. The horse wears the winner’s wreath, bordering the bottle on both sides with red roses and green leaves, with the rose stopper at the apex. At the back “Louisville Kentucky” is pressed in white, printed “An Aristo-craft Creation of Aesthetic Specialties, Inc.” in black.
