A handwoven dhurrie. This flatweave wool area rug is rendered in a palette of periwinkle, ivory, and green. It features a diamond lattice pattern over a periwinkle field, with a variety of motifs woven into the linear intersections. Framing the field is a major border featuring a stylized herati pattern of palmettes , lancet leaves, and vines over ivory. Edges are overcast on all sides. Unlabeled.
