Item Details
A hand-made cow-hide area rug. This Indian-made rug is constructed of small rectangles of hide that have been sewn together side by side and at right angles, creating an allover stepped design in shades of gray, brown, black, and white. Edges are serged on all sides. The reverse has a full backing. It is labeled, including ‘Care & Fair/For Children’s Welfare/Against Child Labour.’
