A pair of The Smithsonian Scientific Series. This pair includes volumes three and eight of The Smithsonian Scientific Series presented in red textured covers with gilt lettering and ornamentation to the cover and spine with a black and gold tone emblem on at the front. The books were published by the Smithsonian Institution Series, Inc. of New York in 1934 and include Cold-Blooded Vertebrates Volume Eight and Minerals from Earth and Sky Volume Three.
