A collection of botanical prints on paper. Included are two lithographs, two etchings with aquatint, and one engraving, all on paper. These prints are after artists including Joseph Paxton (1803-1865) and Samuel Holden (c.1800-c.1860). The species represented are Dendrobium Densiflorum, Aechmea Fulgens, Calceolaria Hopeana, Clerodendrum Splendens, and Witsenia Maura. Each print has the title of the plant inscribed to the lower center, and three of the prints are marked to the lower left with the artist’s name. All five are presented behind a french mat with marbled border under glass in a gold tone frame. They are wired for framing.

Condition

- minor wear to frame finishes; dust collection and smudges on glass; light foxing.

Dimensions

- measured one frame; visible images measure approximately: 5.75" W x 8.5" H.
