S. Green Oil Painting on Canvas Board of Still Life
Item Details
An oil painting on canvas board of a still life by artist S. Green. This painting depicts an ornate, gold tone clock, beaded pearl necklace and scent bottle resting against salmon red, draped cloth which flows throughout the composition. To the lower right corner is an artist signature. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame featuring moulded foliate, palmette and acanthus leaf patterning to the surface and an inner linen liner. To the verso is affixed hanging wire.
Condition
- wear with some cracks to finish of frame; several small chips to frame; paper backing torn off on verso; stains to linen liner.
