An artist proof print on toned paper using lithographic and serigraphic techniques, titled Alphabet Letter B, by Russian artist and designer Romain ‘Erté’ De Tirtoff (1892-1990).This piece depicts a nude female figure, her arms lifted over her head, a serpent encircling her waist to form a capital ‘B.’ The print, which has an inky black ground, has a lowercase ‘b’ to each corner, and is signed and marked as an artist proof in pencil to the lower margin. It is presented behind glass and under a double mat in a black and gold-tone frame with a wire for hanging.

Condition

- frame has dents and wear; backing is worn; piece is lightly dusty.
