Ceramic Spice Canisters and Pitchers
Item Details
A set of six decorative ceramic pitchers and six matching spice canisters. Each piece is white with gilt trim, adorned with a pastoral landscape illustration with a pair of figures. The pitchers and vessels vary in scale. Each spice canister is labeled for its contents: Epices, Poivre, Sucre, Cafe, Farine and Thé. The pitchers are stamped illegibly on the base.
Condition
- to fair; some gilding has rubbed off; surface wear and grime; loss to one pitcher.
