A limited edition lithograph on paper titled Yvette by designer Romain “Erté” De Tirtoff (1892-1990). This fashion plate style piece features a woman wearing a long pink and black dress over a printed grey blouse with a high ruffled collar, against a white background. The work is signed to the lower right of the figure, and is marked 80 in an edition of 260 to the lower left. This print is presented under layered black and white mats and glass, in a white frame with hanging wire to the verso.

Erté was one of the most widely recognized artists of the 1920s. Born in St. Petersburg, he worked in the Russian Federation, Paris, and New York City. He is known for sculpture, Art Deco design, and magazine illustrations for publications such as Harper’s Bazaar.

- minor wear to frame finish; glass could be cleaned more thoroughly.
