Item Details

A vintage Queen Anne style mahogany desk with wicker chair. This set includes a rectangular top table with burl veneer and carved trim over a beveled frieze with carved apron rising on carved cabriole legs terminating on claw and ball feet. The desk features acanthus leaf and scroll detail carved throughout. It is fitted to extend with bronze tone metal lion’s head pulls at two ends; no leaf included. The chair has a curved crest rail with acanthus leaf and shell motif pediment over a wicker back and seat rising on cabriole legs terminating on carved, cuffed feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.
